Shoping was built on a stubborn idea — that buying a diamond should be the most transparent purchase of your life, not the most opaque. Every stone, every price, every measurement is here in the open.
How it began
From a family workshop in Surat to a vault that lives online.
Shoping started in 2019, in a small office above a polishing workshop in Surat — the city that cuts roughly nine of every ten diamonds the world wears. For years, our family had supplied stones to jewellers across India and Belgium without ever meeting the people who would eventually own them.
The more time we spent at the bench, the harder it became to ignore how the rest of the industry sold what we made. Two stones with identical certificates carried wildly different price tags. Buyers were handed glossy brochures and asked to trust. The certificate — the one document that should have done the talking — was often introduced last, if at all.
We launched Shoping to flip that order. The certificate goes first. The 360° video goes second. The price, derived from a published rule rather than a guess at what you’ll pay, goes third. If we’ve done our job, the only thing left to decide is which stone you love.

Sourced at origin
We work directly with cutters in Surat and Antwerp, skipping the layers of middlemen that quietly inflate retail prices.

Independently graded
Every rough we accept is sent to GIA, IGI, HRD, or AGS. No in-house grading — your trust is not something we get to score ourselves.

Photographed & filmed
Each stone is shot on a calibrated rig: macro stills, a 360° spin, and an ASET image so you can read the cut yourself.

Vaulted & shipped
Stones live in an insured vault until your order is placed, then ship the same day with full transit insurance and signature delivery.
